Our Role
Ecuador is a transit country for hundreds of thousands of people moving north, and the pressure lands on a handful of border towns. We provide emergency legal aid and protection services for migrant families along the northern corridors, with mobile teams at four crossings and casework that continues after families move on. Our lawyers handle documentation, family reunification and referrals for people who arrive after weeks on the road. We work with municipalities and host communities so services stay open to residents and new arrivals alike.
